We’re delighted to share that Alias Aromas has been shortlisted for the Female Business Awards 2026 in both the Health, Beauty & Wellbeing and Product Business categories. Sometimes that support looks like a relaxed chat over tea and cake; other times it’s an early-morning networking event or an online community that gives you the confidence to keep going. Self-doubt is a normal part of the journey, whatever your business or idea may be. We all have moments where we question ourselves, but every day is a fresh opportunity to learn, develop, and move one step closer to where we want to be. Offering encouragement, guidance, and genuine support to other women in business is a real sign of strength, generosity, and leadership.

For me, this moment is especially meaningful because I’m now at a stage in life where I can confidently share my story. I grew up in the care system, became a teenage mum, and raised three wonderful children on my own. Over the years, I built my career in beauty therapy, deepening my knowledge and passion for skincare, before training as an Operating Department Practitioner. Four years ago, I began creating handmade soaps and bath bombs, and today Alias Aromas has grown into a small-batch, female-led brand offering designer-inspired Eau De Parfum and bath and body products. Along the way, I’ve also gained an essential oils business diploma and faced one of life’s biggest personal challenges—breast cancer, which I’m grateful to say is now in remission.
